English In Europe
In Clermont-Ferrand, I taught a jeune fille française how to say "Converse All-Stars" properly ("Chucks"). She pronounced it "choohs." Then I taught a drunk fellow at the bus stop how to say "hot bitches" ("ot beeshuh"), where he previously thought it was "fiery bitches." And in Amsterdam I heard a Dutch guy on the street recount a story to his friends: "I said, 'excuse me, pardner. I believe you have got glühwein on your Levis.'"
